The Lottery
The Republican and Democrat parties are out-of-date, old-fashioned and corrupt. The Citizens Lottery Party candidates are chosen by a lottery system. They do not owe favors to the lobbyists and special interests that paid to get them elected.
Our candidates wonāt need to pretend to represent the constituency, because they ARE the constituency. They are true representatives of the people. Anyone can join the party, whether they be Conservative or Liberal, Republican or Democrat, Green party or Libertarian.Ā Ā Everyone will have an equal chance of being selected regardless of race, sex, ethnicity, class, income, etc.
Your representatives will finally be working five days a week instead of working three days a week and then flying home to meet their rich donors. There will be no need for term limit legislation because the lottery system acts like term limits. The candidate can run again, but thereās no guarantee they will be picked again.
Most people do not know who they are voting for. A lot of times itās going to the ballot box and marking D or R or L or G, and behind most of those letters is a bought and paid for politician. Why not just choose a randomly selected individual from your area to represent you. You would have a lot better chance at better representation. Join the Citizens Lottery Party.
